When you’re not drinkin’ whiskey and watching horror movies, what are you doing?
Very Little. Drawing pictures, mainly.
The guitar sounds of Greg Anderson and Stephen O’Malley.
Where does your inspiration come from for these creatures?
All over the place really. From reading books, listening to music, childrens books, myths, legends, fairy tales…. they tend to be a bit of an amalgamation of a lot of things that I’m thinking about at the time.
What would you be if you weren’t an artist?
A menace to society: or a teacher. In truth though, I’m pretty terrible at everything else, and I have a short attention span. I’m unemployable.
What’s your guilty pleasure?
I don’t really think you should feel guilty about anything that brings you pleasure.
Donut or danish?
Donut and anyone who would answer Danish is no friend of mine.
Who could collaborate with anyone, who would it be?
Hmm, i’m honestly not sure. It’s a bit of a tricky area really, since I’d be worried about messing someone else’s work up, or vice versa.
How many crumpled pieces of paper are in the trash at the end of the day?
Depends on the day, but a rough estimate would be that I am probably responsible for, approximately, a football pitch sized piece of deforestation each year.
What’s the most bizarre gift you’ve ever recieved?
I was raised well enough to not draw attention to anyone’s gift buying shortfalls. I’m appreciative of anyone buying me anything.
What’s your favorite piece of your art?
‘The Garden of Earthly Delights’ by Hieronymus Bosch
Any exciting projects we should look forward to this year?
Yup. But not many I can really talk about.
Sandwich or Burrito?
